The CUER secretary attended the Christian Conference of Asia Assembly.

Feb 15-21,2010 Pastoral and Solidarity Visit from California

The CUER worked with the FWS in preparing the program, liturgical material, and the orientation material for visitors from the California Pacific Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
The program staff accompanied the delegation in visiting the 43 health workers detained in Camp Kapinpin, visit Migrante, and to the dialogue with Hon. Leila de Lima of the Human Rights Commission. During the closing evaluation, all the participants expressed their high regard for the work and ministry of the NCCP. As a response, they also committed themselves to do something in their respective churches in echoing the different issues they have learned.





We started the opening liturgy.

They discussed the situation of the migrant workers with the members of the Migrante International.

Feb 1-5,2010 Exposure Program of Presbyterian Church of Korea

The group of the Presbyterian Church of Korea(PCK) which is included faculties and seminarians of the Hanil Seminary, YongNam Theological Seminary, DaeJeon Theological seminary and Hosin Thehological Seminary came to the Philippines for the Exposure Program. The Training Center of the PCK organized this program.



The objective was to know relevant mission in the Philippines so that they can prepare themselves who can understand people who are in struggle and in hope to build a just, peaceful and caring society in God's Mission. The CUER supported this program.

November 2-8, 2009 CCA

The CUER Program Secretary is a member of the liturgical committee for the CCA 2010 Assembly. He is part of the creative team that threshes out all aspects of liturgical celebrations that would make the assembly an empowering one.

June 29-July 3,2009 National Council of Churches in Korea

The CUER facilitated the ecumenical orientation, community immersion and the cross cultural charing of the 18 Koreans with different Filipino communities and churches. The group came from five different seminaries of Korea. During the evaluation, they highlighted positive learning outcomes and they expect continuing activities for next year.
