Feb 15-21,2010 Pastoral and Solidarity Visit from California

The CUER worked with the FWS in preparing the program, liturgical material, and the orientation material for visitors from the California Pacific Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
The program staff accompanied the delegation in visiting the 43 health workers detained in Camp Kapinpin, visit Migrante, and to the dialogue with Hon. Leila de Lima of the Human Rights Commission. During the closing evaluation, all the participants expressed their high regard for the work and ministry of the NCCP. As a response, they also committed themselves to do something in their respective churches in echoing the different issues they have learned.

We started the opening liturgy.
